Dromoland Castle’s flagship dining experience
We know. The Earl of Thomond Restaurant is as grand as can be, with those soaring ceilings and astonishing crystal chandeliers. This is a place where silver cloches and old-world service will always have a home. But beneath the gilded cornices and sweeping velvet drapes, this is a dining room where the imposing formality of a bygone era has graciously given way to smiling indulgence.
Of course, some guests still dress for dinner as they did in the days of the Earls and their Ladies—but now it’s for the sheer joy of fashion and a novel excuse to show it off. We promise we won’t bat an eyelash if you don’t wear a jacket. These days, the only thing we still take so very seriously is the quality of the exquisite ingredients we serve.
