Summer At The Castle

At Dromoland Castle

Summer time at Dromoland Castle is one of the nicest seasons to visit! It’s a time when our magnificent 500-acre estate comes into its own, dazzling with lush greenery, birdsong, blossoming flowers and the gentle buzz of bees.

With 500 acres of private country estate to explore, the luxury of our exquisite rooms, and a team of dedicated staff to look after your every wish, we’re certain you’ll have a truly special stay with us.

The perfect spot for a memorable family holiday or romantic escape, you can indulge in the best of country pursuits while enjoying the finest of Irish hospitality. From laid back strolls and gentle cycling to horse trekking, tennis and 18 challenging holes of golf, you won’t need to leave our grounds to have fun.

One of the prettiest spots in summer, our wonderful gardens are bursting with colour, scent, sculpted topiary and unexpected features at every turn. Let the children’s imaginations run wild as they explore or take a book to the walled garden, sit by the lily pond and feel your cares melt away.

For something more energetic, why not challenge yourselves to an age-old country pursuit. Archery, clay shooting or falconry with our resident hawks, falcons and owls are all fantastic fun!

Our wide-open countryside, spacious interiors and meticulous hospitality promise to give you perfect peace of mind while you enjoy the warmth and excellence you’ve come to expect from the Castle.
